after a bit more research, i believe that the 500 has a light pellet barrel, the 600 and 700mm versions come with a heavy slug barrel. Hence the 600mm and 700mm may require installation of the light pellet barrel for pellets of course?

Interested in a FX Leopard .22 cal USA. 700mm Bottle .22 version Will the Leopard shoot light pellets 18-22grain as smoothly and quietly as the M3? Or is it ment for higher FPE with heavier slugs? Thanks

Has anyone been shooting and testing the new FX Leopard in .22 cal with light pellets? Like 18.13, 20.83, 22.07’s? Thanks

I have both in .22 shooting pellets. The shorter requires 100-125 more psi HP for the same FPS. I’m the kind of person that is always wondering what would be best……. My twisted mind tells me a 30” would be ideal.

This new barrel does not like lubed pellets IMO, I’be tried a couple of pellet lube aids that have helped me in the past with different rifle barrels. I am going to try the suggested silicon spray that was posted by another helpful member and recommend by Skout.

Patchworm pull throughs, also removing the barrel for deep cleaning and using a nylon brush entering from the breech end in the bad areas. I also have polished the barrel to see if that would help with bore paste using multiple .22 mops in the process. It will pull sometimes solid lead shavings...

They did not mention the the silicone treatment to me. Are you using a spray type silicone or liquid. What brand did they recommend?
