Advice on building a pellet trap

I quickly set up a pellet trap years ago, a big metal plate under some 45° with a wooden box (approx. 1,5 square meter) underneath it. Still in use now, although that wasn't really the plan (it's end of life now though, the FX Boss put some holes in it, after repeatedly hitting on the same...

    Krale for pellets ?

Krale is absolutely an excellent shop, I've had quite some good experiences with them, sales-wise but definitely also after sales. Being from Belgium, I don't have to worry about shipping times or customs charges. I can also recommend this webshop: http://jsb-diabolos.de/?&sLang=en (they carry...

    Krale-Schietsport experience / review

I've had quite some good experiences with Krale too, and they're often elected the best airgun shop in the Netherlands, polls are organised each year on the Dutch airgun forum (luchtbuks.net, which has a huge user base). Dutch/Belgian/... customers are quite demanding (there's the 100m...

    possible night vision camera

A lot of these things use standard size lenses (from CCTV) and can be replaced by one with another focal length, like this one: http://www.ebay.nl/itm/16mm-Focal-Length-Lens-for-Security-1-3-CCTV-Camera-CT-CA-/301792198990?

Removing ir filter from a Casio camera .

Just doing a Google search might be fruitful, if you 're lucky you find model specific instructions. I did it once with an old Kodak. Opening it up is usually not too difficult, removing the filter is super easy too (it's a small, transparent square piece behind the lens). Putting it back...

    Running Chairgun on Linux

I run it as java software, and have no experiences with making .deb files I'm afraid. So I run something like java -jar chairgun.jar (it's more complex now, but that's the idea behind it, and how it should work eventually). Create a custom (clickable) shortcut for that command and you 're good...

    Running Chairgun on Linux

[Nerd alert! This is gonna be a bit technical :-P] Been an enthusiastic (Debian) Linux user for 10 years now and haven't really used another OS since (except for Android on mobile devices, yet that's basically Linux too). The single piece of software that I really want to have and use, yet is...

New! .50-Caliber Smoothbore Air Shotgun by Air Venturi

Just a random thought, possibly not feasible as I obviously haven't seen the gun yet - since it has a threaded barrel, to which a choke can be fitted, wouldn't it be possible to add an extra "piece of barrel", with rifling in it, in stead of the choke? Sort of a Smooth Twist concept. No idea if...

    Wife

Well, it's not like I'm against hunting by principle or sth. I mean, I eat meat, and although people often seem to prefer forgetting this, it requires killing animals. Grew up on the countryside and helped my dad slaughtering rabbits, chickens, and what not. What I do hate for sure is the fact...

    Wife

Generally speaking, most people don't understand at all :). Typical conversation: (me) I'm really into airguns (followed by an explanation of the evolution of the technology) (...) Oh, right. What do you do with them? (me) Well... shoot them? (...) Yeah but I mean, you 're in a club or sth...

    Target Retrieval System

Go for floating targets? Some material that stays afloat even with holes in it, like styrofoam maybe. Each time you hit it it floats a bit further away, making it a bit more challenging... Recovering your pellets becomes cumbersome of course, don't know if you 're into that.

    BSA R-10 .25 Cal

Really nice conversion! A friend just told me that the pressure bottles for a 'Sodastream' soda maker should also fit. They normally contain CO2 and I'm told they are rated for 250bar (3625 psi). He ordered a custom valve and is gonna test... If it works well I'm probably gonna do the same...

    Big Bores in the Backyard...insanity???

Ah, the mighty Beaumont. Together with Sinner airguns the most powerful brands designed and built in The Netherlands. They spark a lot of debate here too (well, I live in Belgium, a neighbouring country), when it comes to safety, especially in the context of backyard shooting. Simply awesome air...
