As long as it's not the 12 ft.lbs version, it should be fine with some lighter slugs. I have used NSA 19gn, 21gn and 23gn in my .22 Air Arms s510 rifle with very good results

At the current settings btw, it shoots VERY well the Fx 50.15 grains at 905 fps! Here's a full mag at 55y (50m) 9 shot group (but loaded through a single shot tray): Much better than the equivalent 9 shots group with the 44.75gn at that same distance:
