I haven't had much luck in the summer and fall but in the winter (especially when it snows) suet has worked great for me. It seems to get a lot of them in the area through the spring, too.

Another thing you might want to try sometime is another barrel band. My Disco was accurate from the start (guess I got lucky) but I added another band and I think I gained even a bit more. If nothing else it adds stability so if you hit your barrel on something it shouldn't bend it or anything.
