I was Also concerned about shooting left-handed with the Mark II and found it to be no problem, I did Machine up a cheek piece for it After seeing what others have done

I cut one out on the mill and used 1-1/2” Delrin ,It took several hours lol

25 cal vortex sold pending payment 22 cal and mussel brake still available , I can bore the 22 vortex out If desired 

I’m going for the STD MarkII in 22 cal should have it next week !

 The Dawson receiver was machine out of 7075 aluminum with the added Picatinny which at the time wasn’t available with the theoben receiver and was .750 th longer Which gave it a larger expansion chamber becoming able to produce more power , If the Dawson trigger cartridge was used it was also...
