fantastic shooting! ...just got my first .25 cal FX Independence to go along with my .22 if this crazy wind stops I can fine tune the sight in ...I am using the 25.39 gr and I think the speed is around 900 fps what are you using as a zero? On my .22 i used 40 yards but I want to use this out...

thanks Menttalist, I decided to go with the indy as I have been so dang impressed with it so far ....it shoots amazing and I have had zero issues with it at all I hope its big brother is cut from the same cloth

I have a Indy in .22 and love the freedom from the pump but as my shots are generally at 60 plus yards on pigeons I was hoping that the extra mass and higher bc would help dealing with the wind and anchor birds better that are not perfectly hit. ​any thoughts on these two guns?

KMD, I would think at the ranges your going to be hunting the .22 would be a much better choice for you IMO as the energy is far greater then you need already with the .22 and it will actually be safer as well as the fact that .22 is less expensive and more available to most people ie Walmart...

I ran a trap line for 6 years and I can tell you you wont eat a tastier critter then that! ....I used to save the hind quarters and roast them in the oven with potatoes and onions, carrots and seasonings OMG wow! thanks for sharing with us! Jonathan

I have lost over a dozen pigeons to birds of prey this year...before they hit the ground a few times! and another 8 or so to barn cats within 1 minute or less of impact ...so I am going with good hit stolen bird! Jonathan
