What is your Favorite Air Tank Range Bag?

A quality air tank needs to be taken care of to get the most life out of them.

At NorthEast Airguns we have loved the Armageddon Gear Air Tank Range Bag over the last couple of years.

The Armageddon Gear Air Tank Bag is a purpose built range bag made of 1000 Denier Cordura Nylon and designed to hold your air tank and all other PCP air rifle accessories.

The ½” foam padding provides the ultimate in protection for your tank and multiple pockets that make carrying and accessing your equipment effortless. It has a quick tank access on the side for easy filling. In addition to the tank storage, there are 4 storage pockets (3 small and two large) to easily store your magazines, fill probes, pellets, slugs, range finder, hoses, chronograph, anything you would want or need to take to the range.

Made in the USA and Guaranteed for Life.
Inside dimensions: 23" x 7" x 7"
(The bag will hold all common sizes air tanks)

I have 2 of the Diamond Gun Stocks tank bags. Got them used from a fellow member here. The previous owner said these bags were used year round for 2 years. They fit my large 90 Ltr = 88 CF scba tanks, have nice padding and storage and they absolutely look brand new!! These have proven to be very durable bags.

Diamondgunstocks.com however says they are "Currently not making tank range bags". No idea if this is permanent or temporary.

I also picked up a Scandinavian Arms tank bag but it's too small for the large scba tanks. The SA bag is a VERY nice bag but it is designed for the 6.8 Ltr = 65 CF. I'll put it out on the classifieds so someone can else can enjoy it.

I too use this bag and it works well enough. Well made by a true craftsman.
The only issue is that if/when I need to take it to a dive shop for a fill (rarely), it fits so tightly that it's tough to remove the bag to show the expiry date.
I suggested a small window in the bag so that the date could be seen.
The bag was made by Loren, here on AGN. He stopped making them for a while, then restarted, not sure if he is still producing them now?
Great bag and good person to deal with.

Since Loren no longer made bags, I also have an Armageddon bag and agree with the previous poster on the issues with it.

good looking setup, how's that fill device work? do you need to bleed the line to remove it?
It's just an EDgun EZ fill on one of my hoses that has two female Foster QDs. I only depressurize it when I stow it, but it definitely extends the amount of time that I have to go between filling up my Great White tank (I pest daily with my .25 Leshiy and .30 Maverick).

When i hear bag, my grey goo add pack, CUZ if it is just a bag to carry in hand i will be right back where i try to leave ( having both hands full of stuff )
I have found that my DIY backpack while it with ease hold my 9 L bottle and just about everything else i have.
Well then it is quite hard to get on due to the short straps, damn thing for sure mot made for a XXXL guy, also while the bottle in itself are much lighter compared to what i use to lug around, well in total the pack are quite heavy.

I am now contemplating getting a big backpack, but then i am in doubt if those can house my 9L bottle even if they have a substantial volume.
Even the little backpack i use to have my ammo and tools in, it is split up in 2 smaller compartments, and i fear it is the same with the big / huge backpacks.

Maybe when i move out of here, i should look at a ground floor apartment, or a house even if most come with small gardens and so no long range shooting there for sure.

I love this bag! I have had it for 2 plus years and still going strong, zippers work as they did when it was new. No complaints here. Pyramyd Air. (reviewer, earl.

I have a large Camplex PCP airtank Bag for one of my 147cc tanks;

Also I have one "tripod bag" for my 9L Acecare;

Also I have one handlebar strap for my second 147cc tank something like this, with a protective plastic mesh socks;

I was too hard to justify the large prices of some bags, but I found this from others here. Works great. Inexpensive. Large enough to move my range stuff onto it, instead of carrying a second range bag.
I got my Tiger Shark bottle (with armor) in there easily with rear bags, towel, chrono, ammo, notebooks and targets, etc.
